CRITERIA FOR RECIPIENTS

MISSION STATEMENT:

To promote higher learning within the congregation with a primary focus on Christian Education.

CRITERIA:

• Applicants must be high school graduate or student enrolled in an institution of higher education

• Applicants must have a 2.5 cumulative grade point average

• Applicants must be a full time student

• Must attend four (4) year or two (2) year technical institution

• Must be an active member of the McAlmont Church of Christ

• Applicants must provide transcript  that is authentic, notarized or certified

• Applicants must provide two letters of recommendation (i.e., Bible School Teacher, Youth Director or Youth Worker, Leadership, Counselor, etc.)

• Applicants must write a short summary explaining why the awarding of the scholarship to him/her is in the best interest of the church

• Applicants must apply annually

• Applicants must provide proof of enrollment
